Kangen Water vs. Alkaline Water: The Truth
Alkaline Water:
Ever heard "alkaline water is a scam!"? Well, it's true. Often when people are referring to "alkaline water", they are referring to water that has gone through a chemical change to increase it's pH with synthetic minerals such as magnesium, calcium, potassium, and/or baking soda.
If you are buying bottled water that is "alkaline", you're drinking this type of inorganic, chemically treated "alkaline water", you're basically just drinking very expensive baking soda. You must understand that there are no health benefits to drinking alkaline water. This is because alkaline water is not the same as alkaline ionized water. Sellers of so called “Natural” alkaline water filters are attempting to deceive you into purchasing their cheaper filters with this marketing trick and your lack of knowledge. What they are selling to you is truly an alkaline water scam because all they are selling is a filter which adds minerals to the water, which only raises the pH of water, such as if you add Baking soda to the water.
When you drink water that is re-mineralized in this manner, the minerals get absorbed into your tissues and can cause build up in your heart, arteries, and kidneys.
When you see these posts online talking about "alkaline water is a scam", they're talking about companies that are adding chemicals to the water, bottling them and selling them as "alkaline", which creates a bad reputation for truly alkaline water.
Alkaline Ionized Water
This is the water that has gone through an electrical change to increase the pH - this process is known as electrolysis.
This process produces ionized, truly alkaline, hydrogen-rich water by using electric currents to change the natural molecular structure of the water, without the addition of chemicals or synthetic compounds. Water produced through this method is also known as electrolyzed-reduced water.

Science Behind The Health Benefits of Alkaline Ionized Water
Because alkaline ionized water contains an abundance of molecular hydrogen, it is able to act as a powerful antioxidant that scavenges for and destroys free radicals, called reactive oxygen species (ROS).
